Xander had a great day at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in GA on March 9th, 2020. He ended up winning the whole camp with some extremely consistent Long Snapping. Form is excellent and he is really starting to snap with a lot of confidence. He is tightening up his body well and is an absolute workhorse. When his timing is locked down and he snaps as hard as he can, he can hit in the low .7s with a tight spiral. The bigger and stronger Xander gets, the more dominant he will be in college.

Echols was impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on November 24th, 2019. He is a very smooth and consistent Long Snapper. True student of the potions and it shows with his snapping motion and form. His lower half is very involved and he can easily get the ball back under .79. Really consistent with his snapping speeds in the mid .7s and could easily be in the high .6s if he speeds up his hands right at the beginning of his snapping motion. Body is becoming very solid and his college coach will love him. Keep an eye on him at VEGAS XXXV in January as he shoots for a TOP 12 Camp Invite.

Echols did well during the Rubio Long Snapping 2019 Summer Tour. Hard working Long Snapper that is a true student of the position. He is able to use his whole body very well and his pop on his lower half is excellent. Easily can snap in the .7s and his ball looks like an FBS ball already and he still has two years left of high school. Getting fully set and making sure he is reaching back to the punter will help with accuracy and consistency. Smooth Long Snapper that moves well on his feet. Consistency will be the key to greatness for Echols this fall and at VEGAS XXXV in January.

I really liked what I saw from Xander at the Rubio Long Snapping Regional camp in GA on April 28, 2019. His form is very, very solid and when everything is working together (follow through and release point) he can go snap for snap with the best in his class. Developing that consistency with the follow through and release point will be key for him and will come with additional reps of drill work and practice. He has a great foundation to grow from and I am looking forward to seeing that growth at Vegas XXXIV and future Rubio Long Snapping camps!

Echols had a great weekend at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. Easily one of the top Long Snappers in his class. Works hard and smart. Snaps a good ball that is catchable. He has the tools to be one of the best in his class. Raising up his butt a tad to get his back to parallel will increase his overall speed as it will make him much quicker out of the gate. Excellent Long Snapper that can easily do this at the next level once his athleticism is on par with that of a college Long Snapper
