    Player Review

Washburn was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on December 2, 2018. He had a great day and was really impressive. During the speed competiton, he was snapping with full power and easily hitting in the .7s! Love watching him rip it back with full confidence. Getting fully set, snapping the ball hard and driving his elbows. He has great length and room to put on some good weight over the next couple of years. Really good Long Snapper and on the verge of being great. Washburn has to know he is in the running for a TOP 12 camp spot if he snaps the way I know he can at VEGAS XXXIII in January.

Washburn did very well during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. He is a long athlete that moves really on his feet. He definitely is one of the top Long Snappers in his class and should be for a long time. Snaps are smooth and he is able to snap with a good confidence right now. The more size he puts on and the more he leads with his elbows, the faster his ball will be to the punter. Following all the way through with his fingers will increase his overall accuracy to push up his RSI this fall and at VEGAS XXXIII. I fully expect Washburn to win a camp this fall.

Washburn was beyond solid at the VEGAS XXXII Event in May of 2018. Smooth Long Snapper that can already snap a D1 level ball. Washburn is good on his feet and he is using his whole body really well. Need to see Washburn to focus heavily on his release point. If he can lock down his release point, he will greatly increase his overall accuracy and push up his RSI. His accuracy is going to be a major thing I will be checking as we progress.

Washburn was excellent at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in GA on April 22, 2018. Strong Long Snapper that has an excellent frame that hovered under .80 all day long in GA. Potential is off the charts. Like to see Washburn focus on making sure he is completely straight when he gets down in his stance. If he gets set and leans one way or the other, it will greatly impact his accuracy and consistency of his snapping motion. Potential is off the charts and he could end up completely dominating his class at VEGAS XXXII in May.

Washburn did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. Moves side to side very well and has a frame that could easily put on another fifty pounds over his time in high school. Washburn has waves of brilliance and all of the tools to be one of the best Long Snappers in his class. Need to see him not tap the ball prior to the snap so it doesn't impact his spiral. Also, leaning back and snapping first will increase his accuracy and push up his RSI. Upside is off the charts. Type of Long Snapper that could make the TOP 12 Camp at VEGAS XXXII in May.
