    Player Review

Austin had a great day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in NC on October 7th, 2018. Thick and powerful Long Snapper that is doing a great job in transferring his body into a college athlete's frame. Really impressed with his dedication. His form is good and he snaps one of the tightest balls in his class. When he snaps the ball, it will practically stick to the punter's and/or holder's hands. When he is on, he can easily snap the ball at college level speeds. Driving his chest through to the punter is going to be the key to his greatness and consistency of speed. When he drives his massive chest through, there is no one in his class better. Keep a very close eye on Austin at VEGAS XXXIII in January. TOP 12???

Turner did really well during the 2018 Rubio Long Snappping Summer Tour. He is a thick and powerful Long Snapper that is growing by the hour. You can blink while looking at Turner and he will grown in that amount of time. Form is good and he is using his whole body which gives him solid speed on the ball. Locking down his release point will greatly increase his overall accuracy and put him into the finals at every camp. Snapping with full power and confidence will be huge for him. Also, increasing his overall athleticism will push Turner to the top of his class. There is no doubt he can make a huge push for a TOP 12 Camp invite at VEGAS XXXIII in January.

Turner showed me some good things at the VEGAS XXXII Event in May of 2018. He snaps one of the smoothest and most catchable balls in the country. Ball practically floats into the punter’s hands. Form is good and he has some very good pop from his lower half. His form is well beyond his years. Need to see Turner focus on getting his eyes through and locking down his release point. Raising up his release point and getting his eyes through quicker will increase his overall speed (which is already good) and definitely improve his accuracy which will push up his RSI. VERY good Long Snapper that can easily be the #1 in his class in a short amount of time.

Turner was very impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC on March 11, 2018. I just saw “Rooster” a couple months ago and it looks like he has grown a solid foot in that time. Almost hard to recognize him he has grown so much. Starting form is excellent and he is using his whole body extremely well for his age (or if he was a senior). He can easily hover sub .80. Confidence is going to be huge for Rooster. He is flat out tremendous when he is snapping the ball with full power and just letting it rip back to the punter. Ball is very tight and easily can be caught by any punter. Consistency of speed is a major key for Rooster. Keep a very close eye on Rooster as he could be in the hunt for a TOP 12 Camp Invite at VEGAS XXXII in May

Austin did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in NC on November 19th, 2017. Kid has grown about a foot in the last year and looks like a varsity Long Snapper right now. Form is very good and you can tell he has been to Idaho for private lessons. Listens well, coachable and has all of the tools to be one of the greats. He already has some very quick hands and can snap the ball in the mid to low .8s. The more Austin can trust his good form to let the ball rip out of his hands and the more athletic he becomes, the better he will be and the higher he will move up the rankings. Kid is very, very solid for his age. Watch him dominate at VEGAS XXXI.
