    Player Review

Pipes was snapping a really solid ball all day at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in TX on April 7th, 2019. Thick and powerful Long Snapper that is really strong. Ben is built like a brick house. His follow through is excellent as he is practically handing the ball to his punter. Legs are close to being locked out at the right time. His upper body is really quick and dives through well. I would like to see Pipes focus on speeding up his lower half to be equal to his upper half. If he can get the timing down correctly, his ball will easily be in the .7s (right now, he is in the .8s) at VEGAS XXXIV in May. Big fan of Pipes’ attitude. Coachable.

Pipes did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in TX on November 18, 2018. He is a thick and powerful Long Snapper that reaches through like an absolute champion. It looks like he is practically handing the ball to the punter. Accuracy is solid. Getting fully set and making sure his back is flat will increase his consistency and speed on the ball. Locking his snapping motion down and getting fully set (I know I already said it, but it will really help) is going to help immensely. Simple fix that will pay off big time at VEGAS XXXIII in January.

Pipes was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in TX on November 12, 2017. Ball has a good pace back to the punter and his spiral can be really tight so the ball will stick to the punter's hands. Pipes follow through is excellent as he almost flips all the way through to the punter. Legs are almost fully locked and I love it. That is definitely why he is getting some solid speed on the ball. Snapping with more power and confidence will be huge at VEGAS XXXI. Love his aggression when snapping the ball. Kid is already good.
