Player Review
Katri did well at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in TX on April 29th, 2018. His hands are very quick and it can be almost hard to time him…..I love that on a Long Snapper. Also, big fan of how well Katri leans back. Needs to make sure he getting his eyes all the way through and lifts up his release point a bit so the ball will help right in The Rubio Zone at all times. To increase his overall speed, I want to see Katri focus on using all of his lower half. This will give him a ton more power and really get the ball moving back to the punter. Slow motion drills into a mirror will really help.
Katri followed through really well with his hands at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. Starting form is good and he has a thick frame. The best thing Katri could do is tons of slow motion drills to lock down his snapping motion. I would like to see Katri not even snap over ten yards for a couple weeks just to get his whole body fully involved. I am a big fan of his attitude and he has the tools to make it all happen.
