Player Review
Burch was on fire at the Rubio Long Snapping Summer Camp in TX on June 29th. He is an extremely smooth and athletic Long Snapper, there is no doubt he will be a factor on the punt coverage team. First off, the upside on Burch is off the charts. He could easily be snapping at the next level and has the type of snap that can be doing this for a long time. When Burch is on, he is very on and can dominate his class. Locking down his release point is going to be huge for him in the future. Keep a very close eye on Burch.
Burch did well at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in TX on April 29th, 2018. He has a long frame and I love when he really drives his eyes through and has the same release point on every snap. Need to see Burch focus on not widening out during his snapping motion. He is using his lower half and getting it fully involved, but I need to go straight back and not widening out as he goes back as that will take away a good deal of his power. Making sure he is driving back and not up will be huge for accuracy and speed. Very good potential on Burch.
Ean showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in TX on November 12, 2017. Long frame with room to put on some good weight over the next couple of years. His snap is tight and the ball is easy to catch. I like the way Ean follows all the way through with his hands and fingers. Need to see Ean focus on slow motion drills in order to get his lower half fully involved to gain more speed. Locking down his snapping motion at about ten yards will increase his overall consistency and confidence. Good upside and I look forward to seeing Ean at VEGAS XXXI.
