    Player Review

Davis definitely performed well. And possibly earned the right to move up in the rankings. I just don’t see him jumping any of the guys ahead of him. If he can snap a more consistent spiral, I would be more inclined. Vegas will be a good oppurtunity for him.

Salom did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in CA on October 27, 2019. Extremely strong Long Snapper that has the potential to play two positions in college. His ball is very powerful and easily can hit in the low. 7s with ease and even dip into the .6s. Salom is one of the hardest working Long Snappers in the country. Extremely coachable. The potential on Salom is off the charts and he is already great. Big fan of Salom and can't wait to see him at VEGAS XXXV in January.

Salom was an absolute stud at the Rubio Long Snapping Summer Camp in NorCal on July 28, 2019. His pure power and lightning quick hands have his snap humming. Evidence of this was him earning the title of camp speed champion with a fastest snap time of .69. Davis has a very compact snap that is extremely efficient. His massive frame certainly helps him generate power but the best explanation for his fast times is his quick hands. The big guy moves pretty darn well too. I would like to see Davis emphasize getting his elbows through his thighs with limited disruption. This will help him throw a more consistent spiral. If Davis can maintain his fast times and get his spiral consistently tight, he is going to make a huge push for one of the top spots. I am excited to watch Davis continue his path of domination at his next Rubio Long Snapping event.

Salom came east from California and showed his power at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in GA on April 28, 2019. Massive Long Snapper that just keeps on improving by the hour. Built very well and he is getting better quicker than anyone in the country. You can definitely tell Salom has been working hard and smart. Ball is strong and very powerful. Easily can get the ball under.79 at 15 yards. He was actually snapping in the low .7s during the speed competition! Continuing to drive his eyes/head through to the punter will increase his overall accuracy at VEGAS XXXIV in May.

Davis was extremely solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NorCal on March 24th, 2019. He is a very powerful long snapper and snaps with sheer force. This was confirmed by him winning the camps speed competition. Davis has a quick release and wastes very little movement when he snaps the football. I would like to see Davis snap a tighter spiral more consistently. If he can get his right hand under the ball more, and get his left elbow through without disruption, he will accomplish a tighter spiral very quickly. After that happens, and you combine that with his size and speed, look out! Very impressed by Davis. I look forward to seeing his improvement at his next Rubio Long Snapping Event.

Salom was impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in WA on March 17th, 2019. Love the size of this kid. Thick and strong. Powerful human being that is very coachable. Everytime I see Salom, he shows me that he has been working and getting better. Starting form is very good and when he is on, he is very on. The more violence he puts his head through as he dives to the punter and the more gentile he is with his hands, the better his snaps are. As stated, when Salom is on, he is an easy D1 Long Snapper.

Salom did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in CA on March 3, 2019. Massive Long Snapper with great power. Built like a college fullback. Kid is the definition of thick and strong. Starting form is great and his hands are powerful and quick. Moves very well on his feet. When Salom drives his eyes/head through, he can (easily) get the ball back to the punter in under .75 seconds and will put it right on the punter’s hip. The upside on Salom is off the charts. Always improving and definitely can snap a ball at the next level.

Salom showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. Massive Long Snapper that is built like a brick house. He has tremendous strength his whole body. Absolutely love when he is snapping with full power and confidence. He can put a hole in someone if they aren’t paying attention. Moves pretty darn well on his feet for his size. Salom has the tools to do this at the next level. Huge fan of his attitude.
