Player Review
Luke showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. He has very good size and can pass an eyeball test very quickly. His snaps show good accuracy and his speed is solid. Like to see him lean back a bit more to increase his accuracy even more. Also, being quicker out of the gate and making sure he is not having any hiccups and/or movements with his upper body prior to the snap will help with the spiral and speed up the ball. Very good upside on Luke.
Luke was very impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping summer camp in TX on June 30, 2017. Kid has very good power throughout his body and I love how strong his hands are as the ball jumps out of the gate. Love to see Luke get his butt down a bit lower so he doesn't dip it right before he snaps. If he can lower his butt just a tad, he will eliminate the slight knee hitch and his ball will be even quicker back to the punter. Luke is good and headed toward great. Keep a very close eye on him this fall and definitely at VEGAS XXXI.
