    Player Review

Lane was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in TX on November 18, 2018. He came up to Idaho for a lesson just a couple days later and was even more impressive. He is a massive human being that is as strong as a bull. This kid has the strength to possibly play two positions in college. Form is good and he is a very quick learner. Ball is quick and he is using all of his body well. The more he trusts his good form and lets the ball fly, the better he will do in the long run. Also, increasing his overall athleticism will help a ton. Kid is a stud and will make his college coach very happy.

Lane showed me some great things during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. Big and strong Long Snapper that can catch a groove and dominate his class. His improvement over the last year is tremendous and I don't see him letting up anytime in the near future. Really impressed with his overall work ethic. Form is good and he is getting some very solid pop on his ball since he is able to use his whole massive body. Like to see Lane make sure he is not over dipping his right shoulder as that will make the ball curl to the punter's right. Slow motion drills to lead with both elbows will help a ton to equal out his arms coming through to the punter. Big fan of Lane's attitude. Watch this kid....he has to be in the running for a TOP 12 camp invite if he keeps improving at the rate he currently is.

Lane was solid at the VEGAS XXXII Event in May of 2018. Big and strong Long Snapper with great power throughout his whole body. Hard worker, listens well and has all of the tools to be one of the greats. Making sure he is getting his eyes all the way through and leading with his elbows will huge in Lane moving up the charts. Less thinking about dominating and just going out to dominate will be a big deal for Lane. Love his upside.

Lane did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in TX on April 29th, 2018. Strong Long Snapper that is always improving. Using his whole body very well and is snapping with some good pop. Pretty darn impressive how well Lane moves on his feet for his size. Not tiny at all but moves with good fluidity. If Lane can make sure his elbows drive through and not pop out, he will greatly increase the consistency of his speed and impact his RSI in a good way. Great attitude and upside.

Lane did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in GA on April 22, 2018. Big and strong Long Snapper that can easily get the ball back to the punter in the mid .7s. Form is good and he snaps with power. His hands are like rockets and it can almost be hard to time him. Need to see Lane focus on locking down his spiral and snapping with full confidence while leading with his elbows for more whip. Lane is good and headed towards great. I am a big fan of his upside.

Lane came out from Texas and was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC on March 11, 2018. He is a big and strong Long Snapper that can hover in the low .8s but, I know, can easily snap in the mid .7s by VEGAS XXXII in May with more confidence. If Lane can make sure he is speeds up his legs a bit more, he will easily increase his snap speeds. Upper body is very quick and, once his legs catch up, he will crush the punter. At VEGAS, I will be looking for increased speed and more athleticism. Great attitude and upside.

Lane showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. He covers extremely well and was excellent on his feet. Lane left no doubt that he could easily be a factor on the punt coverage team of his high school and beyond. Love to see Lane focus on snapping with absolute full confidence and just letting the ball rip. He has what it takes to move up the rankings in a quick fashion if he can simply snap the ball with full power. The only thing stopping Lane right now is Lane. He showed me good things in waves and I just need those waves to be a never ending flow. Slow motion snaps will help to lock down his overall snapping motion and increase his consistency.

Ethan did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in TX on November 12, 2017. He is a large Long Snapper with good power throughout his body. Starting form is very good and he does a good job of reaching all the way through with his hands. His pop is good and he is already using all of his lower half pretty darn well. Very consistent Long Snapper that hovers right in the mid .8s over and over again. Kid has good power and is right on the cusp of dominating. Easily could push for a TOP 12 camp spot at VEGAS XXXI if he begins to snap with more confidence. Confidence in himself and snapping with FULL power at all times is going to be huge for Ethan. Very impressive day in TX for Ethan.
