    Player Review

Sicaeros showed me some good things at the summer camp in CA. Starting form is good and he is consistent with his snapping motion. His ball hovers in the mid .8s and driving his elbows and starting with the ball out a bit farther in the beginning will allow him to get more whip on the ball. Also, making sure he is not creating a pattern with his pre-snapping routine is going to be huge so he can’t be timed up by a defender. Easy fixes that will pay off big time. Hard working Long Snapper.

Sicaeros was impressive at the VEGAS XXXII Event in May of 2018. Good attitude and the kid works hard on the field. Listens well and is coachable. Ball is consistent, and he has some good accuracy. If Sicaeros can turn off his brain and let his body do the work, it will help out a ton. Also, making sure he is not too predictable with his snapping set up. Tends to have the same routine at all times and someone will pick up on it to time him up to get a jump on the ball. Very, very simply fix and I will be willing to bet it is fixed by the Underclassmen Invitational.

Sicaeros had good day at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in CA on March 4th, 2018. He has a good frame and seems to be growing by the second. When he is on, he can be very on. Starting form is very good and he is extremely close to using his legs perfectly when he is snapping the ball. At times, Sicaeros timing is just a tad off (legs are slower than upper body) and that can cause the ball to die at about ten yards. Consistency of speed and not thinking so much are the big things I will be looking for at VEGAS XXXII in May. I know he can snap a ball in the .7s and I want to see it at all times. He has all the tools to be a great one.

Troy showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. When he is on, Troy is very on and can snap a great ball. At the start he reaches out well and, at the end, he reaches back just as well. When Troy drives through and not up, he is easily snapping the ball in the low .8s and can even dip into the .7s. Leaning back will help with overall speed as well. Making sure he is not dipping a shoulder will help with accuracy. I like his atittude and upside. Ball can be very smooth and I want him to be just as smooth on his feet. Increasing his athleticism will really push Troy up the rankings.

Troy did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping summer camp in CA on July 27, 2017. His snapping motion is very smooth and he has good consistency. Love to see Troy focus on really driving his eyes/head through with each snap. If he follows through with his head, he will greatly increase his overall accuracy and get his RSI up at the fall camp in CA and definitely at VEGAS XXXI. Making sure he improves his athleticism will help out as well. Very good potential on Troy. Keep an eye on him.
