    Player Review

Reid showed me a ton of great things at the VEGAS XXXII Event in May of 2018. Very intriguing Long Snapper that is good athlete in several sports. Solid frame and he is strong. Quick on his feet due to other sports…. which is good. Form is solid, and he is snapping a nice, smooth ball. Big fan of Reid’s personality and work ethic. Getting super healthy and strong will help out a ton. Borderline TOP 12 kid already. Watch him.

Grant Reid had a great day at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in GA on April 22, 2018. Great frame and a very tough Long Snapper. Athletic Long Snapper that is good at multiple sports. Fluid in his movements. Form is good and I absolutely love when he snaps with full power and really drives his elbows through to create more whip. When Grant snaps as hard as he can and with full power, he is easily one of the top Long Snappers in his class.

Reid impressed me at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. Big fan of quick Reid’s hands are and how well his ball jumps out of the gate. His ball can be at eight yards when everyone else’s is at five. Locking down his spiral will be huge for increasing the consistency of his snap speeds. Also, making sure his timing of his legs and upper body is set will increase his consistency. As you can tell, consistency is the big thing I am looking for from Reid. He can be in the .7s but also can be in the high .8s. With his quickness and form, I want to see Reid with no snaps above .75 by VEGAS XXXII in May. Great kid. CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY

Grant showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on December 3rd, 2017. Great frame and I love his attitude. He is coachable and listens well. Reaches back like a champion and has good balance. His hands are like rockets and really get the ball out of the gate well. Need to see him focus on being smoother with his overall snapping motion and getting his legs fully involved to gain more speed on the ball. He hovers in the high .8s to low .9s and I know he can be sub .85 at VEGAS XXXI if not sooner. Grant has great upside and type of Long Snapper that a coach is going to love on and off the field.

Grant had a great season of camps at the Rubio Long Snapping GA summer camp on July 11, 2017 and the Underclassmen Invitational in Tampa, FL. He has a good frame and is strong throughout his body. His follow through is excellent as he practically hands the ball to the punter. Love to see Grant focus on getitng his lower half fully involved and sped up to gain more power and speed on the ball. He can average, already, in the mid .7s right now and he isn't even using all of his legs. Locking down his spiral will help with his speed as well. Sky is the limit for Grant.

Grant did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS 30 Event on May 13-14, 2017. Very good athlete that dominated the agility section of the weekend. Grant left no doubt that he could be a factor on punt coverage for many years to come. Love to see him focus on getting his lower half fully involved to gain more speed on the ball. His hands are like rockets and the ball jumps out of the gate quickly, but can die along the way due to lack of lower body involvement. Kid is dripping with potential. Watch him.
