    Player Review

Perry had a great time during the 2019 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. Strong and powerful Long Snapper that uses his whole body very well. Muscular legs pop very well and provide a good amount of speed on the ball. His movements are quick and the ball gets to the punter rapidly. Excellent attitude and he has all of the tools to snap very well at the next level. Hard working Long Snapper that is constantly improving.

Perry showed up from Kentucky and showed me his power at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in GA on April 28, 2019. He has a very strong frame and is built extremely well. Perry is a pure athlete that looks like he can play multiple positions in college. Starting form is very good and he is using his whole body really well and getting some good pop from his strong legs. If Perry can make sure he is just a tad quicker and not butt hitching, he will be timed much quicker. Quickness is going to be key for Perry to move way up the rankings. Right on the cusp of greatness.

Perry arrived from Kentucky and did well at the Rubio Long Snapping IL Spring Camp on April 14th, 2019. Thick and powerful Long Snapper with a really muscular frame. His physique is great and he is strong. Starting form is excellent and his pop is very good. His ball hovered in the low .8s to high .7s. Really like how well he is using his whole body. If Perry can make sure he is super quick with his legs and not dipping at all, his snaps will be in the low .7s and maybe even high .6s at VEGAS XXXIV in May. Perry is very good and headed towards excellent. Keep a very close on Perry. Really solid day in IL.

Clay showed a ton of potential and upside ad the Rubio Long Snapping regional camp on March 24, 2019. Very powerful and well built Long Snapper, he displayed the ability to fire the ball back to the punter. With continued work on his form and not popping up/getting his eyes all the way through he will add the second element of consistent accuracy to his Long Snapping. Once he can get that ironed out he will sky rocket in the rankings. Excited to see the progress he has made at the next Rubio Long Snapping event!

Perry came out from KY and did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping NC Spring Camp on March 10th, 2019. Strong bodied Long Snapper with a good, powerful frame. His ball hovers in the mid .8s and he can easily snap in the .7s at VEGAS XXXIV in May. Need to see Perry focus on making sure he is super quick with his legs and not winding up with his knees to rock into place before the snap. His pop is very good and his legs are locking like a champ. Follow through is good. Tremendous upside. Watch him

Perry showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. Loved the way he moved on his feet. He is always running downhill and with a purpose. His wrists are extremely strong and quick. He can simply flick the ball back to the punter and it will get back quickly. He can average under .75 when he lets the ball fly out of his hands. Working on slow motion drills to help him get his lower half fully involved will greatly increase the overall speed and fluidity of Perry’s snaps. Great work all weekend and was impressive.
