    Player Review

Eli did really well during the 2019 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. Strong Long Snapper that has a great form and a terrific work ethic. He is always improving and one of the more consistent Long Snappers in his class. Thick and powerful. Quick ball. He is using his whole body really well. Great overall Long Snapper that definitely can do this at the next level.

Eli ended up winning the whole competition at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in TX on April 7th, 2019! His frame is excellent and he is an extremely strong Long Snapper. He obviously handles pressure really well and can snap with excellent accuracy. During the finals round, he didn’t have any overall bad snaps and only missed by inches every single time (if he did miss). When he drives his elbows and dives through like a champ, his ball is in the low .7s and simply doesn’t miss. Smoothing out his overall snapping motion will be the key to Eli earning a TOP 12 Camp Invite at VEGAS XXXIV in May. I love this kid’s attitude and he is definitely one to watch.

Eli was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. He has a good frame, solid build and snaps a powerful back to the punter. Ball is quick and he is strong with his snapping and throughout his body. Moves well side to side and shows good aggression through the agility section. I absolutely love when Eli is driving his elbows to create more whip on his ball which will give him way more speed. He already is well below .80 for fifteen yards and could easily be in the .6s by the end of this year. Kid has all of the ingredients to be flat out stud.

Chism had another good day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in TX on November 18th, 2018. Strong Long Snapper with quick hands. The ball jumps out of the gate really well. Chism can be almost hard to time he is so quick (this is a good and impressive thing). Getting fully set and making sure he is leading with his elbows will keep his ball consistently in the .7s and at the college level. When he is on, h his very on. Great attitude. When both elbows drive through, his ball can rip through the punter. If he snaps the ball the way I know he can, he could easily earn a TOP 12 camp invite at VEGAS XXXIII in January.

Eli was tremendous during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. Big and strong Long Snapper with good form that has some excellent speed on the ball. He ended up being the overall speed champion of the camps with times, consistently, in the low .7s and even was able to dip into the high .6s! RSI was outstanding as well with almost a 40! Getting fully set and not overgripping the ball will push his accuracy up even more and make his fast and powerful snaps that much easier to catch. I am very excited to see him this fall and at VEGAS XXXIII in January. If he snaps the way he did in TX, a TOP 12 Camp invite could be in his back pocket!!!

Chism was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in TX on April 29th, 2018. First off, Eli looked like he put on 20 lbs of muscle. Almost didn’t even look like the same Long Snapper as before. His form is extremely solid and he is using all of his body very well. Increasing his overall athleticism and truly locking down the consistency of his snap speeds are going to be the keys to Chism’s greatness. He is right on the cusp of absolutely dominating his class. I want no bad snaps and all snaps under .80….all the time. I absolutely KNOW he can do it and now I want him to KNOW it as well. I am telling you, watch this kid at VEGAS XXXII in May. Big jump in the rankings and he could jump that much again if he snaps the way I know he can under the pressure of VEGAS XXXII
