    Player Review

Laurin did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in WA on October 21, 2018. Really motivated Long Snapper that is tough as nails. He actually played a game on all sides of the ball on Saturday, tweeked his leg a bit and still performed really well at the camp on Sunday! Oh, and he came all the way down from Canada! Form is good and he is using all of his body well. Quick Long Snapper with good follow through. Need to make sure Laurin focuses on driving his elbows through to create more whip on the ball which will equate to more speed on the ball. Hovers in the low .8s and will easily be mid .7s at VEGAS XXXIII by simply driving his elbows at the start of the snapping motion. Great attitude.

Laurin was solid during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. He has one of the best personalities of any Long Snappers in his class. Always smiling and having a great time while learning and getting better. Very athletic Long Snapper that can fly down the field and is undoubtedly will be a factor on the punt coverage team. So smooth when he runs and does anything athletic. Increasing the pop in his legs and really making sure he is snapping with full confidence is going to help him out a ton with overall speed and accuracy. Gaining size will also help as well. Big fan of Laurin's.

Laurin did well at the VEGAS XXXII Event in May of 2018. One of the better overall athletes in his class. This kid absolutely dominated the agility aspect of the camp. Ball is clean and precise when it gets back to the punter and/or holder. Form is very solid. Making sure he is snapping the ball as hard as he physically can is going to help out a lot with overall speed. Laurin is very good and he is right on the cusp of greatness. Keep a very close eye on Laurin.

Laurin was impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in WA. on March 18th, 2018. Strong Long Snapper that can move well on his feet side to side. Hips are good. Ball is consistently in the mid .8s and will be much quicker when he raises his butt up just a tad to get his back to parallel to the ground. Doing this will allow Laurin to get his lower half fully involved right away and have less room for error. He made it deep into the finals and was very close to winning it all. Great attitude.

Laurin had a great weekend at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. First off, he is a tremendous athlete that absolutely crushed the agility section of the weekend. Flew on his feet and left no doubt he can be a factor on the punt coverage team. His snaps are very smooth and no punter will ever have a problem catching his snaps. Like to see Laurin focus on using all of his body to gain more speed on the ball and get him under .90 on a consistent basis. I see him snap some quick balls and I wash to see it all the time, over and over. Getting his legs to get fully locked will help out a ton. The upside is very good on Laurin on his athleticism alone.

Laurin looked really impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in WA on October 22, 2017. Kid is a pure athlete that can destroy any agility test that you throw his way. It is impressive to watch him move on his feet. Starting form is very good and he does a nice job of reaching all the way back to the punter. His lower half if very close to being fully involved. Right now, it is just a tad slow and, ironically, slow motion drills will help the process to make his timing perfect and gain more overall speed on the ball. Hovers in the mid .8s and I know he can be sub .80 with proper timing at VEGAS XXXI. Love how he is always smiling. He is going make all of his coaches happy throughout his playing career.

Laurin was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Underclassmen Invitational in Tampa, FL. Athletic Long Snapper that could be a true factor on the punt coverage team for his team. Starting form is very good and his hands are quick. Smooth snaps back to the punter make Laurin's ball very easy to catch. Like to see Laurin focus on making sure he speeds up his legs locking. Right now, they lock but is after the ball is snapped. Getting his timing down will really increase the overall speed of the ball and move his ranking way up. Listens well. Watch him this fall in WA and at VEGAS XXXI.
