Player Review
Brian did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He is a Long Snapper that moved well on his feet and can definitely be a factor in punt coverage. Love to see Brian focus on not thinking so much and snapping the ball with great CONFIDENCE. His form is good and he needs to trust it to just let the ball fly out of his hands. VERY good upside due to how smooth he is and how effortless his snapping motion is. Getting his speed up will really increase his RSI at VEGAS 30 in May. I like his attitude.

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
