    Player Review

Declan showed me some great things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. He was on the short list of Long Snappers that were very close to making the TOP 12 camp and if he makes some slight adjustments, he could easily do it at VEGAS XXXII in May. Declan moves pretty darn well on his feet which is impressive because he is already looking like a college Long Snapper and he is only a sophomore. His snaps are one of the most catchable snaps of anyone in his class. For Declan, the biggest thing he needs to work on his simply to snap as absolutely hard as he possibly can. His form is excellent and he needs to trust it. The more Declan just lets the ball go, the faster his snaps will be and the more accurate they will be. It’s simple, Declan will be as good as he chooses to be and he could easily be great. Watch him. When it clicks, he could jump to five stars in no time.

Declan showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in NJ on October 8th, 2017. Massive Long Snapper that looks like a college athlete right now, let alone in two more years. Hands are powerful and quick. Form is good and he has solid balance. Love to see Declan focus on slow motion drills to make sure he is getting his lower half more involved. Right now, Declan is basically just flicking the ball back to the punter and he can already hit in the mid .7s. If Declan gets his legs going, he would be sub .70 by VEGAS XXXI. Potential is off the charts for Declan.
