Player ReviewDeclan had a very strong showing at the NJ Spring camp on April 9th, 2017. His physical size never ceases to amaze me for how young he is. Snaps with a lot of power and is very athletic for how big he is. Once he gets his consistency down and continues to put himself in pressure situations, he will have a major breakthrough and jump towards the top of his class. Has a very bright future and has the tools to be one of the greats to come through Rubio Long Snapping!
Declan was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. Kid is massive and can pass an eyeball test from 50 yards away. Declan is a strong Long Snapper with a ton of power. Hovers right now in the .8s and would easily be in the .7s if he can speed up his hands a bit. Tends to have a slight hitch and that slows the timing down. Once he uses all of his lower half and speeds up his hands, he could easily take the top spot. Moves well on his feet. CONSISTENCY of speed is going to be huge for Declan at VEGAS 30 in May. Type of kid that could surprise everyone and earn a TOP 12 spot.
