Cahill did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He is a long athlete that moved pretty darn well on his feet. Strong Long Snapper with a powerful ball that can hover in the mid .7s consistently. Love to see him focus on getting his lower half fully involved and locking down his spiral to gain even more speed on the ball. Cahill is a Long Snapper that could easily sneak into a TOP 12 Camp spot at VEGAS 30. Right on the cusp of greatness.

VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .75 VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.22 VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 21.95 All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality. RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
