    Rubio Long Snapping History

    Student Since: 2011

    Latest Evaluation: 5/12

Blake continues to be a very strong Long Snapper. Ball comes back hard and with solid accuracy. Removing the hitch at the beginning will REALLY increase the speed of the time. Would like to see him quicken up his hands and lean back. Also, I believe widening out will assist both those things pretty easily. Footspeed and hitch are biggest hiccups and both can be rectified. Hard worker. Easy fixes with a couple tweaks. Pretty close to being there.

Blake is intriguing. Snaps the ball with great force and with MPH standards, it moves quick. Has some issues at the beginning of the process that slows down the actual time of the overall snap. Tiny fixes to his legs, eyes and hands (all at the beginning) will make Blake a great one. Good attitude and snaps hard. Love that. Potential. Easy fixes mean he can get "there" very quickly. Very accurate. 1/12

Blake is a very solid Long Snapper. Good athlete and has a tight ball with nice accuracy and consistency. Moves well. Back needs to get a little more flat and I want him to keep an eye on coming off the ground. Even though he gets up at times, balance is pretty solid and he does not fall forward which puts him into good positioning for blocking. 5/11
