    Rubio Long Snapping History

    Student Since: 2006

    Latest Evaluation: 7/12

I am very impressed with Austin. He is right on the cusp of greatness. Built very well. Strong as an ox and moves well on his feet. Very well. Smooth snap and very easy to catch. Ball is very accurate and he handles pressure as well as anyone. Once he stops dragging the ball at all, he will be a 5 star. Halting that will enable him never have a bad ball. Work horse. He will do well in college.

Orr started off slow at the TOP 12 camp but finished on FIRE!!! The way he ended the camp on the final day and a half was the best I have ever seen him in action. Looked smooth, confident, wasn't dragging the ball and was firing the ball back to the punter. Really was using all of his massive frame. Moves better on his feet that you would believe by looking at him. He is large chested and shouldered so he looks like he can't move, but he can and he can move well. I believe I have fixed his slight issue and he should dominate throughout the summer. Got along very well with all of the other snappers. Quiet yet still personable. TOP 12 and EVENT ELITE Evaluation 6/12

Here we go Orr!!! It is all coming around now for Austin. Always been extremely accurate and consistent, now the speed is coming along. It is almost odd because he has good speed but, from his size and strength alone, I KNOW he can snap much, much harder and, therefore, create much, much more speed on the ball. He is beginning to loosen up his massive frame a tad and definitely moving better down the field. When he looks rigid, I don't like it. When he is fluid, I love it. Orr will be as good as he wants to be. I am fully expecting him to be a 5 Star after TOP 12 if he rips it back there and blocks well. EASILY OBTAINABLE. Great kid. 5/12

Austin continues to impress with his frame and accuracy when he snaps. Kid is built well and very large shouldered. Just needs to loosen up a bit with his arms and really let the ball go. Could EASILY snap in the .6s if he would allow himself to do so. Form is solid and he is very smooth. Moving better down field and handles pressure well. Solid all around Long Snapper that, once it clicks, will be flat out dominant.  4/12

Real simple...if Austin snapped as absolute hard as his massive frame would allow, he would be an easy 5 star Long Snapper for me. Kid is built VERY well and is accurate as the top kids in the country. Just needs to realize how strong he truly is. Ball is easy to catch. Blocking is solid. Like to see him run just a tad better as well. Don't doubt all will be fixed by the next time I see him because the kid is a work horse that does exactly what you tell him to do. Excellent attitude. Blue collar. 1/12

Strong as a house and almost as wide. VERY close to just flat out dominating his entire class. Snapping the ball as hard as he can, and therefore using his frame, will give him greatness and a HUGE jump in the rankings. Keeping his flexibility in check is going to be key. Hard worker.

Austin is built like a house. A very strong and big house. His shoulders are wide enough to show a movie on...easily. He is one of the smoothest and most accurate Long Snappers out there. With confidence, knocking on the door at this point by the way, he will dominate. Form is very solid and his flexibility improves daily. Excellent kid with a ton of potential. Hard worker.

This kid is a monster. Built like a house. Look at his back and his shoulders if you can get them in the photo frame. Improves everytime. Did well in spurts at the TOP 12 camp. Had a slight issue with look to no-look but all seems to be deciphered now. VERY strong. He gets his hands on you blocking and you aren't going anywhere. Has the potential to snap the ball very fast. Solid, stoic personality.
