Player Review

Nathan Bates did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in WA on September 22, 2024. His starting form is gorgeous and Bates snaps a really smooth ball back to the punter. Easy to catch for the punter and he has some solid consistency. Bates is like a machine out there and each ball is the same (which is obviously great). When Bates locks down his spiral, the ball is super tight and will speed up since it is slicing through the wind. Really good form and Bates is able to use his body well. Love to see him just press the gas a bit more (trusting his great form) and really let the ball fly out of his hands back to the punter. Really good upside and I am looking forward to seeing him at XLV in January. Right on the cusp of a 4 star.
