Evan Kemp showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in TX on March 5th, 2023. Evan is a big long snapper that can pass and eyeball test quickly. His starting form is good and the ball jumps out of the gate really well. There is no wasted movement on Evans snapping motion. I wanna make sure that Evan focuses on locking down his spiral and snapping the ball with his fingertips, not his palms. He has large hands and they can cover the entire ball. Working on slow motion drills will help a lot to get Evan to use all of his large body to get more overall speed on the ball. First good step and I saw him snap a couple good balls throughout the day, which is really solid for a first camp for Long Snapper. He has great upside and I look forward to seeing Evan at Vegas in May.
