Player Review
Cooper had a solid day at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in New Jersey on April 21, 2024. He is extremely flexible and does a good job getting his eyes through right out of the gate in his snap. I also love his direct ball path as he throws his hands directly to the punter. I would like to see Cooper bring his butt up a little bit pre snap in order to make his back more paralell with the ground. His low butt causes him to have a ton of unecessary lower body movement which leads to a tendency to be a bit inaccurate. Once he quiets his lower body a bit and effectively drives his butt to the punter in order to avoid falling forward, he can focus more on snapping with power and achieve quick success. I expect that he will show improvement very quickly as he is extremely coachable and eager to get better. It will be great to see his improvement at VEGAS XLIV on May 4-5.
