Shinjiro had a very good day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in New Jersey on December 18, 2022. He has very quick hands and the ball jumps out of his hands almost effortlessly. He also does a nice job keeping his eyes through and holding his finish. I would like to see Shinjiro get the ball out in front of him a bit more and to involve his legs in his snap a little bit sooner. This should help his timing tremendously. If he can do this while maintaining his quick hands he could potentially see his snap times reach an elite level. Shinjiro could be a name to keep an eye on at Vegas XLI in January.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
