Player Review

Varcados did really well at a private lesson in Northern Idaho and at the Rubio Long Snapping Rising Seniors Camp on July 9-10, 2022. He has great size and can pass an eyeball test. Made it to the finals and was inches from being the winner of the whole camp. Coachable Long Snapper that is SUPER smart and should have no problems getting into a school. Motivated Long Snapper that is right on the cusp of greatness. Smoothing out his overall snapping motion to decrease any hitch and get his lower half fully invovled will push Varcados into the next level. Massive upside. 

Varcados showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XL Event on May 14-15, 2022. First off, he is a large Long Snapper that can pass an eyeball test quickly. His starting form is good and it will be great if he can widen out just a tad to allow his upper body to drive through a little easier. Love to see Varcados get fully set with each snap as that will greatly increase his overall accuracy and consistency. Driving his eyes/head through to the punter will increase his overall speed. He is right on the cusp of greatness and a couple quick tweaks will make it all happen. Excited to see him at the Rising Seniors Camp! 

Accomplishments

RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
