Luke Whiting did fantastic at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLI Event on January 14-15, 2023! He ended the weekend with the highest overall RSI score of all the Long Snappers. This shows he is super consistent accurate, consistent Long Snapper that handles pressure very well. The improvement with Luke over the last year. It truly is remarkable to see just how far he has come in a short amount of time. He's not only done a great job with his snapping but his body as well. Looks completely different (in a great way) from a year ago. His snapping motion is super smooth and his ball is easy to catch. The more Luke can press the gas with his snapping (snapping the ball through the punter and not to the punter) and on his feet by running more downhill, the more dominant he will be in the long run. Super hard working Long Snapper that will make his college coach very happy.

Luke Whiting had a great day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in Southern California on October 23rd, 2022. He ended up winning the entire camp (just a couple weeks after winning the SLC camp!) and looked great while doing it. Large Long Snapper with a giant frame that will be able to handle the college level athletes with ease. Luke snaps one of the smoothest balls in his class and has improved more than anyone over the last year. Luke has done a great job on and off the field. Hard working Long Snapper that dominates when he snaps with full power. Form is great and super smooth (I know I already said this but it is so smooth I wanted to say it again). Great upside and Luke has the type of snapping motion that can allow him to be snapping for a long time. Keep a close eye on Luke at VEGAS XLI in January and beyond.

Luke Whiting was dominant all day at the Fall Utah Camp. He showed tremendous accuracy while consistently snapping in the low .7s/ high .6s. He is extremely coachable and is constantly looking for ways to improve. I think if there is any area Luke can improve it would be on the consistency of his spiral. He dialed it in very quickly by focusing on getting his elbows through and emphasizing a deep finish with his hands. If he can continue to focus on doing this every time he snaps he is going to be unstoppable. I look for Luke to be competing with the very best in his class at January Vegas.

Whiting was great at the Rubio Long Snapping TOP 12 Camp on Jul 12-14, 2022. Massive Long Snapper that has some very long levers. One of the hardest working Long Snappers in the country, this kid has drastically improved over the couple months. Flexibility is excellent and when Whiting is on, he is as good as anyone in the country. Upper body is very strong and gets through smoothly to the punter. Locking down his release point will be the key to Whiting's dominance. Moves well on his feet and the sky is the limit for Whiting.

Luke had a great weekend at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XL Event on May 14-15, 2022.  He is a very large Long Snapper that has improved as much as anyone over the last couple months. Drastic improvement that has launched him into an invite to The TOP 12 Camp. Very strong Long Snapper that makes his snaps look effortless. He gets down, gets set and the ball jumps out of the gate. Smooth Long Snapper that does better when he snaps as hard as he can. The more he focuses on being light on his feet and increasing his overall athleticism, the more dominant Luke will be at college camps and beyond. Massive upside.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
