Ayden Thacker did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLI Event on January 14-15, 2023! Ayden is a very athletic Long Snapper that absolutely crushed anything that had to do with his feet. Three cone drill, dominated it. 40 yard dash, smooth and dominant. The kid is a pure athlete that is definitely able to be a factor on the punt coverage team. His snaps are solid and move quickly back to the punter. The ball jumps out of the gate really well and he is able to snap the ball in college speeds. Leaning back a bit more and locking down his release point will drastically increase his overall accuracy and consistency. Hard working Long Snapper that definitely has the tools to play at the next level.
Ayden Thacker was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in Southern California on October 23rd, 2022. His hands are extremely quick and the ball jumps out of the gate very well. His hands are so quick, it would be almost difficult to time him…which is great. Like to see Thacker focus on leaning back more to increase his accuracy, consistency and speed. Locking down his spiral will help his speed and catchability. Thacker is using his whole body really well to get some good pop and has solid upside. Keep an eye on Thacker at VEGAS XLI in January and beyond
