    Player Review

Landes did well at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in WA. on March 18th, 2018. First off, the ceiling for Landes is off the charts. Consistency of speed is going to be a major thing I am looking for at VEGAS XXXII in May. When he is on, Landes is really on and can dominate his class. The harder he snaps, the better he will be in the long run. Ball is smooth and can hit in the mid .7s when he lets it rip.

Landes did very well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. He was on a short list of mine that almost made the TOP 12 Camp. His upside is off the charts and once it all clicks for Landes, he could easily be one of the top Long Snappers in the country. Kid seems to grow a foot per year and he has a frame that could easily put on another fifty pounds over the next couple of years. Need to see him lead with his elbows to create more whip on the ball which will give him speeds, consistently, in the mid .7s. Consistency of speed is going to be huge for Landes. I see him snap the ball in the .7s, at times, but I want to see him snap at that speed at all times. Snapping with full power, gaining some size and making sure his snapping motion is the same with each and every snap will move Landes way up as it will increase every aspect of his snapping. Said it once and I will say it again, the upside on Landes is amazing.

Landes was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in WA on October 22, 2017. Kid is growing like a weed and doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. Has a frame that will make a college strength coach drool as he could easily put on 50 lbs over the next 6 years....easily. Starting form is very good and is close to using all of his lower half to gain more speed on the ball. Biggest thing I want Landes to focus on (besides gaining lbs) is really driving his upper body through to the punter. If he can do that (go straight back) and not up and then back, his ball will easily be sub .80 at VEGAS XXXI. The amount of potential on this long athlete (kid can fly on his feet) is absolutely off the charts. Tremendous attitude.
